What we collect, who receives it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
When you complete the move plan form, we collect the answers you give:
- Your first name, email address and, if you give it, your phone or WhatsApp number.
- Who is moving, which country's passport you travel on, and whether you have pets.
- Your timeline, the area you are moving to and how well you know Spain.
- Your main income source, a monthly income range, and whether you could make an investment.
- The services you want introductions for.
The contact and provider forms collect the details you type into them.We count page visits and form completions with Fathom Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal information. This site does not set tracking cookies or run advertising scripts.
How we use it
- To show you which residency options may fit and build your move plan.
- To choose which providers to introduce you to, and when.
- To contact you about those introductions.
Who receives it
If you tick the consent box at the end of the form, we share your answers with up to 3 providers for each service you chose. Providers pay us for these introductions. Under some US state laws that counts as a sale of personal information, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
Providers may contact you by email. They may call or text you only if you ticked the separate box allowing it. Providers are independent businesses and handle your information under their own policies.
We also use service companies to run this site, including our web host, which stores form submissions, and email and messaging tools that notify our staff of new requests.
Sensitive information
Your passport country and income range can count as sensitive personal information under some laws. We use them only to assess residency options and match you with providers, and we share them only as described above.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct or delete it.
- Stop sharing it with providers.
Send the request through the contact page from the email address you gave us. We don't treat you differently for making a request.
How long we keep it
We keep your answers while your move is in progress and for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and change the date at the top.
